Winter Wonderland

Welcome to our winter wonderland. Our house is slowly disappearing behind the mountain of snow. Apparently St. John's is all set to break some snow fall records this year, and i believe it. The snow came earlier than normal this year and with lots more to come yet this year.

Our sweet little Ellie belly is turning 4 years old today!!! WOW! Boy the time has flown by!

Ellie is having a fabulous birthday so far!

I'll post some pics of her birthday tomorrow. But tonight, we are heading to Jungle Jim's restaurant for her birthday dinner! :)

Steph: Thank god the holidays are over...

...because if I hear "Let it snow" one more time, I'm going to snap! More like "Make it stop, make it stop, make it stop."

Another day, another FOOT of snow. Mix that in with wind gusts upwards of 100 kms an hour, and it makes for a really tough time shovelling.

Oh, and all of you out there who said "Moving to Newfoundland? Better bring your shovel!": that's about the same as telling one of our Canadian soldiers "Going peacekeeping in Afghanistan? Better bring your knife!" I think its now listed in Webster's below "understatement".

Anyway, off to rest. The driveway is clear now, and I have to relax a bit. They're predicting another 15 cms tomorrow. Grrr.
