Babies!!

Our trip to the duck pond proved to be very eventful tonight. A little bit of a back story.. For almost a month now, we have been watching this one duck while she sat in her nest. I knew there were eggs in there - I saw them one day. We were a little worried with how long she was sitting there, and of course one day about 2.5 weeks ago, the nest was empty - no mommy duck, and from what i could see, no eggs.

There was nothing to worry about though.





9 little ducklings in total - probably from 2 mommies. Up and about, swimming with their parents, ducking their little heads under the water. I wasn't allowed very close to them before mommy warned me, or told her ducklings to move away, and i had just Kat's point and shoot camera. But next nice day, my big camera will be going for the walk, so even if i can't get close, i can zoom and get some good pics of the babies. :)
