As per tradition for Canada Day, the weather report ended up being questionable. Called for rain all day, but there were quite a few breaks in the rain. We spent most of the day at home, but went out once - on the guise of going to support the best Canadian company (Tim's of course), and ended up going to the Confederation building. It was the main attraction for St. John's. Unfortunately because Steph decided not to tell anyone of this side trip (for fear that the rain would start), there are no pictures of our short outing there. But there was a stage with a traditional band singing. A couple of fire trucks that all three girls got to go on. There were a few BBQs set up. There were a few things that we didn't get to enjoy - bouncing house, and face painting - because the line up for those were a good 30-40 people long. And just as we finished up seeing everything that we wanted to see, it started raining. So a race to the car, and our outing was done. But we all really enjoyed it. :)
